Upload silex-paywall.zip on WordPress, or paste the global script into your site header once.

📌 WordPress Integration (via Official Plugin)

Running a WordPress blog, publication, or digital shop? You never have to touch theme code or manually edit header.php. Our official plugin automatically injects the Silex engine into wp_head and gives you both a visual drag-and-drop Gutenberg Vault Block and a flexible [silex_lock] Shortcode Engine.

1. Download the Official Silex Plugin Package

Click the Download silex-paywall.zip button above (or inside your Creator Dashboard) to save silex-paywall.zip to your computer. Keep the file zipped—do not extract it before uploading to WordPress.

2. Upload & Activate in Your WordPress Dashboard

Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard and navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Click Choose File, select silex-paywall.zip, click Install Now, and then click Activate Plugin.

3. Configure Settings & Lock Any Asset Visually

In your left-hand WordPress admin menu, open Settings → Silex Paywalls. Enter your registered Silex Creator Email and your Nano (nano_...) Payout Wallet Address, then click Save Changes. Your site header is now automatically connected!

Method A: Visual Gutenberg Block (Recommended — Zero Code)

Open any post or page in the WordPress Block Editor, click the + button, and insert the With Silex P2P Paywall block. Use the right-hand sidebar to set your unlock price (down to $0.001+), currency (USD, EUR, GBP), and security mode (Vault Mode or Quick Mode). Then click the inner + button inside the dark-green Vault box to drop in any WordPress blocks:

Written Articles & Guides: Paragraph, Heading, List, Quote, or Code blocks.
High-Res Photos & Art: Image, Gallery, or Media & Text blocks.
Downloadable Files (PDFs, ZIPs, E-Books): The native WordPress File block.
Video & Audio: Video, Audio, or YouTube/Vimeo Embed blocks.

Method B: Classic Shortcode Engine ([silex_lock])

Using the Classic Editor, Elementor, Divi, or custom templates? Wrap any text, media, or download link inside the [silex_lock] shortcode:

📍 Step 1: Exactly Where Do I Paste the Header Script?

The most common question creators on custom websites, Shopify, or Webflow ask is: "Where do I put this code, and can I paste it anywhere?"

❌ What NOT to do: Do not paste your master script tag inside a normal paragraph, blog post text box, or visible page body. If you do, it will display raw code onto your screen instead of running the paywall engine.

✅ Where it MUST go: It belongs in your website builder's Global Header Settings (sometimes called "Header Code Injection", "Custom HTML Head", or "Site Header"). This makes the script load quietly in the background of every page on your site once.

Platform-by-Platform Visual Placement Guide:

📌 WordPress (Official Plugin Mode vs. Manual Header Mode)

💡 Recommended (Official Plugin Mode): If you installed silex-paywall.zip above, skip manual header editing! The plugin injects kit.js into your WordPress <head> automatically once configured under Settings → Silex Paywalls.

If you prefer not to use the plugin, you can paste your custom script directly into your theme's global <head> section via Appearance → Theme File Editor (header.php):

Want to change prices per item? Just modify the price in the Gutenberg block sidebar, the shortcode price="..." attribute, or the data-price attribute on individual HTML wrappers. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification: Silex Industries shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use of the paywall engine. Creators agree to indemnify Silex against claims resulting from their locked content.
Strict Content Restrictions: Creators are strictly prohibited from utilizing Silex widgets to host or distribute malware, illegal items, adult/NSFW material, hate speech, or unauthorized copyrighted media.
